Qorvo Automotive Solutions are used for automotive connectivity applications with increased power management requirements. These products support the increasing number of devices carried in vehicles. Qorvo offers a full portfolio of automotive solutions, with active and passive devices, to meet the challenging requirements of the automotive industry. The devices have connectivity products for 802.11p, automotive Wi-Fi, SDARS, GPS, and LTE, plus a wide range of DC/DC converters and modular power management ICs. In addition, light electric vehicles offer intelligent motor controllers. Qorvo performs AEC-Q100 and AEC-Q200 testing on many products to ensure the devices are ideally suited to the automotive environment.

Car Chargers / Power Adapters
Qorvo's high-power automotive DC/DC converters are used in vehicle-based solutions to power and charge smartphones, tablets, and other devices. These solutions feature high-efficiency switched-mode power supply circuits to reduce power loss and heat while charging. These power solutions support multiple charging protocols like USB PD, QC, BC1.2, Samsung, and Apple MFI.

Light Electric Vehicles
Qorvo's intelligent motor controllers are used on battery-powered vehicles like carts, bicycles, and scooters. Today’s battery-powered vehicles feature larger motors with increased power management demands. With battery voltages from 24V to 80V, these systems and associated large currents are difficult and expensive to design for when using discrete components. Qorvo’s PAC controllers support this equipment by integrating a high-performance MCU, high-power gate drivers, and high-voltage power management. This can significantly reduce system cost and physical size for this type of equipment.
