Texas Instruments TPS7B83-Q1 Low-Dropout Regulators

Texas Instruments TPS7B83-Q1 Low-Dropout Regulators are designed to connect to the battery in automotive applications. The TPS7B83-Q1 LDO Regulators have an input voltage range extending to 40V, allowing the device to withstand transients (such as load dump) anticipated in automotive systems. Featuring an 18µA quiescent current, the Regulator is an optimal solution for powering always-on components such as microcontrollers (MCUs) and controller area network (CAN) transceivers in standby systems.

The TI TPS7B83-Q1 Low-Dropout Regulators have a state-of-the-art transient response that enables the output to react quickly to changes in load or line (for example, during cold crank conditions). Additionally, the TPS7B83-Q1 has a novel architecture that minimizes output overshoot when recovering from the dropout. The device has a tight DC accuracy of ±1% over line, load, and temperature during normal operation.
