Swissbit Industrial Slim SATA Solid State Drives (SSD)
Swissbit Industrial Slim SATA Solid State Drives (SSD) are non-volatile memory drives that provide high capacity data storage. These SSDs have a standard combined connector with Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA) and power/control part. The slim SATA SSDs operate at a supply voltage of 5V with an optional 3.3V also available. These SSDs are available in 54mm x 39mm x 4mm small form factor.
The slim SATA SSDs comes with the SATA interface operate in Mode 2.0 (1.5Gb/s or 3.0Gb/s burst). These SSDs incorporate an internal intelligent controller that manages interface protocols, data storage, and retrieval. The slim SATA SSDs also come with a hardware BCH-code Error Correction Code (ECC), defect handling, diagnostics, and clock control. These SSDs employ a wear leveling mechanism that assures an equal usage of the Flash memory cells to extend the lifetime. The hardware BCH-code ECC allows to detect and correct 8 random bits per 528-Bytes. The slim SATA SSDs have a voltage detector and a powerful power-loss management feature to prevent data corruption after power-down.
