Sensirion SGP Multi-Pixel Gas Sensors

Sensirion SGP Multi-Pixel Gas Sensors are based on multi-pixel technology that allows the sensor to perceive its surroundings using various receptors that detect the type and concentration of gases. The SGP devices provide detailed and reliable data on key environmental parameters such as humidity (RH), temperature (T), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), particulate matter (PM2.5), and CO2. This gas sensor integrates four gas sensing elements into a 2.45mm x 2.45mm x 0.9mm DFN package with a fully calibrated air quality output signal. The SGP Multi-Pixel Gas Sensor offers long-term stability absent from traditional metal-oxide gas sensors. This stability provides emerging environmental monitoring possibilities and allows the integration of metal-oxide gas sensors into mobile devices. Mobile devices using these sensors could measure indoor air quality, determine the alcohol content of an individual's breath, or recognize smells.

Sensirion's MOXSens® Technology provides the SGP with unmatched robustness against siloxane contamination, resulting in exceptional long-term stability and accuracy. The SGP combines multiple metal-oxide sensing elements, the pixels, on one chip to provide more detailed air quality signals. The combination of long-term stability and multi-pixel technology makes the SGP a perfect choice for indoor air quality monitoring in mobile, smart home, and appliance applications.
