Phoenix Contact BT Series CLIPLINE Complete Barrier Terminal Blocks combine a ring cable lug connection with the advantages of the CLIPLINE complete terminal block system. The uniform system accessories, such as the standardized plug-in bridges, provide considerable time savings during wiring. Using continuous marker strips, the terminal blocks can be marked across a large surface, and each terminal point can be marked clearly. The transparent design of the strips means you retain a clear overview when bridging.
The BT barrier terminal blocks for DIN rail mounting and direct mounting are available with various connection technologies and as hybrid versions. Barrier connection technology provides a reliable, convenient-to-use, high-performance connection. The barrier connection technology is subjected to tests which go beyond basic standard testing, enabling it to be used in all industrial sectors, including energy supply, transportation technology, and chemical, as well as shipbuilding. The Push-in connection technology requires up to 50% lower conductor insertion forces. The barrier and Push-in connection technologies create high-grade, gas-tight connections that cannot be impaired even by aggressive substances and are tested for maximum vibration and shock resistance.
The Phoenix Contact BT barrier terminal blocks are available in three styles: DIN rail mounting, direct mounting, and Push-in and screw connections. The DIN rail mounting components do not require tools. The specially-designed locking foot allows for the ease of mounting and sliding onto any NS-35 DIN rail. They can be removed without any tools by tipping the terminal block slightly to the side to unlock and simply unsnap it. Direct-mounted terminal blocks can be arranged in series in individual terminal block bases and secured with the integrated flanges and cover flanges with no separation loss. The Push-in and screw connection allows safe and easy connection to conductors with a spring-guided screw, making the wiring quick and easy.
