NXP Semiconductors i.MX 91 Applications Processors

NXP Semiconductors i.MX 91 Applications Processors allow the rapid creation of Linux®-based edge devices, such as smart home controllers, connected appliances, home entertainment, and industrial and medical platforms.

The i.MX 91 SoCs are high-performance, affordable, secure solutions allowing adaption to updated protocols or emerging standards as they are introduced. The i.MX 91 SoCs integrated EdgeLock® Secure Enclave supplies security features, including lifecycle management, tamper detection, secure boot, and a simplified certification path.

The i.MX 91 implements an Arm® Cortex®-A55 running at up to 1.4GHz, support for modern LPDDR4 memory to facilitate platform longevity, dual Gigabit Ethernet, and dual USB ports, along with a rich set of peripherals targeting medical, industrial, and consumer IoT market segments.

The devices are part of the EdgeVerse™ portfolio of intelligent edge solutions, are offered with consumer/industrial qualifications, and are supported by NXP’s product longevity program.

    • PF9453 Power Management IC (PMIC) (in development); i.MX 91 is compatible with i.MX 93 PMIC PF9451A
