With ultra-compact dimensions and an exceptionally wide viewing angle, the QuantumDot 01005 series delivers bright, uniform light distribution for space-constrained backlights, status indicators, healthcare devices, smart homes and appliances, robotics, and wearable applications.
The Kingbright QuantumDot 01005 LEDs, available from Mouser, are ultra-compact (0.45mm x 0.25mm x 0.2mm) and feature a wide viewing angle (140°), ensuring consistent and even illumination across space-constrained applications. Designed for low power consumption and unparalleled performance without compromising brightness or energy efficiency, these LEDs improve sustainability and cost-effectiveness by replacing conventional Indium Gallium Nitride (AlInGaP)-based light-emitting chips with quantum dot-converted subpixels, delivering improved color consistency across a wide range of viewing angles.
The QuantumDot 01005's low-power consumption features 24mW power dissipation, 5V reverse voltage, 10mA DC forward current, 40mA peak forward current, and a 3000V electrostatic discharge threshold (HBM). These LEDs are RoHS compliant, halogen-free, and include moisture sensitivity level (MSL) 2.
