Mouser-Sponsored Formula E Racing Team Heads for Portland Doubleheader in the USA

June 25, 2024 - Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest electronic components and industrial automation products, is excited to support the DS PENSKE Formula E racing team in Portland, Oregon, USA, for rounds 13 and 14 of the Season 10 ABB FIA Formula E world Championship. The doubleheader weekend starts on June 29 for round 13 and continues on June 30 for round 14.

The DS PENSKE team is hoping to carry some momentum from the Shanghai E-Prix, where two-time Formula E Champion Jean-Éric Vergne captured pole position for round 11 and 2022 World Champion Stoffel Vandoorne finished in sixth position for round 12. The races in Portland, Oregon, will serve as the home races for the team this year, as this is the only stop of the season in the USA. The Portland International Raceway will play host to the weekend-long festivities. The permanent circuit is 3.190 km in length and has 12 turns. PIR is a familiar stop for American motorsports such as IndyCar, and the layout tends to lead to a lot of excitement. The Formula E series debuted here last season and had a record number of overtakes. Portland International Raceway sits on roughly 268 acres of land, 83 of which are part of an environmental protection zone.
