Mouser-Backed DS PENSKE Formula E Racing Team Takes on the Streets of London for Season Finale

July 23, 2025 - Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) leader™ empowering innovation, is excited to watch the DS PENSKE  Formula E racing team as they look to end the season on a high note for the final races of the season at the London E-Prix doubleheader, on July 26 and 27th.

The London races feature a unique track that weaves its way inside and outside the exhibition center and around the historical heartland of the Royal Docklands. The ExCel Circuit is motorsport's only indoor and outdoor race circuit, made possible by the emissions-free nature of the cars. The track features 20 turns with a total length of 2.09 KM. Drivers and teams must deal with two different surface types: the smooth indoor surface with more grip and the abrasive asphalt on the outdoor portion, plus elevation and lighting changes, presenting unique challenges. Team drivers for the London race are Maximilian Günther and two-time Formula E Champion Jean-Éric Vergne. Currently, the DS PENSKE team is third in the season-long championship with 164 points, and both drivers are in the top 10 in the individual driver standings as they head to the season's last two races.

The DS PENSKE team will drive the new GEN3 Evo car, which is faster and more agile than its predecessors and features an aggressive new body kit designed to be stronger, more robust and more aerodynamic. The new GEN3 Evo cars can go from 0-60 mph in 1.82 seconds, 30% faster than an F1 car. It also allows for all-wheel drive, a first for a Formula E car.

Mouser supports the DS PENSKE team for the globe-trekking 2024/2025 season in collaboration with TTI, Inc., and valued manufacturers Molex and KYOCERA AVX. Mouser and Molex have been partnering to sponsor Formula E racing since 2015.
