Mouser-Sponsored Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing Team Takes On IMSA Long Beach Circuit

April 12, 2023 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) leader™ empowering innovation, proudly sponsors the Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team and will be cheering them on in the third race of the 2022 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season. After exciting races at Daytona International Speedway and the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, the team is ready to take on the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach in California on April 15.

The Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team will be working to build on their momentum coming off a third-place podium finish in the GTD PRO class at the Rolex 24 at Daytona and a second-place finish in Sebring. The full-time driver lineups for Vasser Sullivan Racing include Jack Hawksworth and Ben Barnicoat in the No. 14 Lexus RC F GT3 in the GTD PRO class, with Aaron Telitz and Frankie Montecalvo co-driving the No. 12 Lexus entry in GTD.

The Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach offers a long weekend of racing action, including Friday’s qualifying event, two days of the Porsche Carrera Cup, and the action-packed 100-minute race on Saturday.

Mouser previously sponsored the Vasser Sullivan IndyCar team, seeing the opportunity as an inventive way to communicate its performance-driven business model and promote the newest technologies. The Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing Team will tackle the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California next, followed by six more races before the season-finale Motul Petit Le Mans in Atlanta on October 14.
