Navitas Semiconductor / GeneSiC G3F SiC MOSFETs, Now at Mouser, Enable EV Charging and Industrial Applications
October 7, 2024 - Mouser Electronics, Inc., the industry's leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, is now stocking the Gen-3 Fast (G3F) SiC MOSFETs from Navitas Semiconductor / GeneSiC.
The Navitas Semiconductor / GeneSiC G3F SiC MOSFETs are developed using a proprietary ‘trench-assisted planar’ technology delivering high-speed performance. The technology enables an extremely low RDS(ON) increase versus temperature, which results in low power losses across the complete operating range. Available in 650V and 1200V variants, these MOSFETs are optimized for faster switching speeds, higher efficiency, and increased power density demanded by various applications.
The G3F SiC MOSFETs deliver high-speed, cool-running performance, with up to 25°C lower case temperature. The thermally enhanced TOLL package for the 650V variants offers significant space and thermal management advantages. Meanwhile, the 1200V models provide the power needed for next-generation EVs and industrial applications.
The G3F SiC MOSFETs are used in a variety of applications, including AI data centers, EV roadside superchargers, onboard chargers (OBC), energy storage systems (ESS), and solar power solutions.

2026 - Navitas Semiconductor / GeneSiC Semiconductor is the only pure-play, next-generation power-semiconductor company, founded in 2014. GaNFast™ power ICs integrate gallium nitride (GaN) power and drive, with control, sensing, and protection to enable faster charging, higher power density, and greater energy savings. Complementary GeneSiC™ power devices are optimized high-power, high-voltage, and high-reliability silicon carbide (SiC) solutions. Focus markets include mobile, consumer, data center, EV, solar, wind, smart grid, and industrial. Over 185 Navitas patents are issued or pending. Over 50 million GaN units have been shipped with zero reported GaN field failures, and Navitas introduced the industry’s first and only 20-year warranty. Navitas is the world’s first semiconductor company to be CarbonNeutral®-certified.
