At the kit's core is the MLX90642, a 32 × 24-pixel thermal sensor that enables accurate detection, counting, and localization of individuals in indoor environments without relying on visual imagery, ensuring complete anonymity. This Melexis kit includes a precompiled, machine-learning-based algorithm that works out of the box, with no additional training or calibration required.
