Crocus Technology CT110 XtremeSense Sensor Now at Mouser
January 4, 2022 - Mouser Electronics, Inc., the industry's leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, is now stocking the CT110 XtremeSense® sensor from Crocus Technology.
The high-linearity and high-resolution CT110 contact current sensor is designed with patented, state-of-the-art XtremeSense tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR) technology. The sensor measures the current flowing through the DFN package via its integrated Current-Carrying Conductor (CCC) and converts it to an analog ratiometric output voltage representing the current. Additionally, the CT110 delivers superior performance with a typical total output error of less than ±0.5% and a capability of sensing current as low as 5mA providing unmatched resolution.
The Crocus Technology CT110 XtremeSense sensor is a single-chip solution that simplifies design, PCB layout and saves PCB area. The device can support up to +15.0A of AC and DC, making it ideal for replacing shunt resistors plus isolation amplifiers.
Applications include Internet of Things (IoT) devices, LED lighting products, power tools, drones, battery charger systems, and PCs and servers.
