Vishay Surface-Mount Crystals and Oscillators are product expansions that target small footprints and better performance where the goal is achieved. These products feature better temperature stability performance and wide frequency range availability. The crystals and oscillators with small packages are aligned with the latest trends in development programs that bring advanced packaging to the marketplace. These crystals feature frequency tolerances at 25°C of ±20ppm or better and temperature stabilities of ±25ppm or better, a marked improvement over the current ±50ppm specifications. The oscillators feature a span frequency range from 1MHz to 125MHz and are offered in 2.5mm x 2.0mm dimensions. These products are ideal for mobile communications, industrial controls, and consumer platforms.
The crystals cover a frequency range of 12MHz to 60MHz, with a tuning fork crystal operating at a 32.768kHz real-time clock frequency. These crystals have a frequency tolerance of ±20ppm or better at 25°C. These surface mount crystals are offered as small as 1.6mm x 1.2mm, a significant reduction that starts at 5mm x 7mm.
