Texas Instruments LM74810EVM Controller Evaluation Module (EVM)
Texas Instruments LM74810EVM Controller Evaluation Module (EVM) helps designers evaluate the operation and performance of the LM7481-Q1, ideal diode controllers in reverse battery protection applications. This evaluation module demonstrates the Texas Instruments LM7481-Q1 Ideal Diode controller's capability to provide reverse battery protection for higher power (>100W) automotive ECU designs. The device controls two back-back N-channel power MOSFETs with ideal diode MOSFET connected first followed by the second MOSFET for switched output and power path cut-off.Features
- Reverse battery protection for high power ECU designs
- Switched output and power path cut-off
- Over voltage protection
- Meets automotive transient immunity test requirements
- Two external N-Channel MOSFETs connected back-back in a common drain configuration
Required Equipment
- Power Supplies - One adjustable power supply 0V to 40V output, 0A to 15A output current limit
- Oscilloscope - DPO2024 or equivalent, three 10x voltage probes, and a DC current probe capable of measuring 15A
- Meters - One Digital Multi Meter minimum needed
