Seeed Studio ReSpeaker Devices

Seeed Studio ReSpeaker Devices are an open-source, modular voice interface that turns any speaker into a voice-controlled device. Seeed Studio Respeaker devices provide a hands-free way to interact with things in different ways. Use voice to control to communicate with robots, home appliances, or any internet-equipped devices.

These development boards are powered by the MT7688 Wi-Fi module and feature a built-in high-performance microphone. The ReSpeaker devices are also powered by the Atmel ATmega32u4 8-bit MCU with USB Controller and are Arduino compatible.

On the board is the Cirrus Logic WM8960 Codec with Class D Speaker Driver designed for portable digital audio applications. Stereo Class D speaker drivers provide 1W per channel into 8W loads. The WM8960 guarantees low leakage and excellent PSRR. The driver has pop/click suppression mechanisms for direct battery connection for the speaker supply. These devices also integrate a complete microphone interface and a stereo headphone driver.

The ReSpeaker devices respond to voice and recognize speech based on online services like Microsoft Cognitive, Amazon Alexa, Google Speech, Wit.ai, and Houndify. An onboard SD card slot extends storage and the integrated lightweight speech recognition engine, the PocketSphinx. These development boards can equally work offline for keywords spotting. A large vocabulary and audio files can be stored locally to implement speech recognition without the internet.

Compatible with the Wio Family
The ReSpeaker devices are compatible with the Wio Link, Wio Node, and the Wio Core. Wio Link is an ESP8266 based open-source Wi-Fi development board to create IoT applications by virtualizing plug-n-play Grove modules to RESTful APIs with mobile APPs. To use ReSpeaker with Wio, simply pair ReSpeaker to a Wio product using the Web App. Voice interaction can now be used with any IoT device built on Wio.

A ReSpeaker 4-Mic Array for Raspberry Pi is also available. This ReSpeaker is a quad-microphone expansion board for Raspberry Pi designed for AI and voice applications. Build a more powerful and flexible voice product that integrates Amazon Alexa Voice Service, Google Assistant, and so on.

Accessories

Seeed Studio Wio Link simplifies IOT with the easy development of applications, products and services. This open-source Wi-Fi development board virtualizes plug-n-play modules to RESTful APIs with mobile APPs. No hardware programming, breadboard, jumper wires or soldering required. Build your own IoT applications in three steps and in about five minutes.

Seeed Studio Grove modules are a ready-to-use, building-block approach to prototyping electronics. The Grove system consists of a base shield and a wide variety of modules with standardized connectors. The base shield allows for easy connection of a microprocessor input or output from the Grove modules, and every Grove module addresses a single function, such as a simple button or a more complex heart rate sensor.

Seeed ReSpeaker Mic Array

Seeed Studio ReSpeaker Devices

Seeed ReSpeaker Mic Array can be stacked (connected) right onto the top of ReSpeaker Core to significantly improve the voice interaction experience. It is developed based on the XVSM-2000 Smart Microphone from XMOS. The board integrates 7 PDM microphones to help enhance ReSpeaker's acoustic DSP performance to a much higher level.

Seeed Grove Extension Board

Seeed Studio ReSpeaker Devices

Seeed Grove Extension Board can be stacked (connected) right onto the top of ReSpeaker Mic Array. The board brings even more possibilities to connect various Grove sensors and actuators. The board provides up to 10 Grove ports for interfacing with a range of plug-n-play Grove sensors and actuators.
