ROHM Semiconductor H-Bridge Drivers

The ROHM Semiconductor H-bridge drivers are available in a variety of different supply voltages and a range of output currents for wide applicability. The H-bridge driver series for DC brush motors includes supply voltages of 7V, 18V, and 36V with output currents of 0.5A, 1A, and 2A. Built-in protection circuits protect the IC and load from damage and ensure greater reliability. These H-bridge drivers achieve low power consumption, high efficiency, and are ideal for a wide range of devices, including AV equipment such as DC/DVD players and business equipment such as printers.

The H-bridge ICs combine BiCMOS control and power MOSFET outputs to deliver exceptional performance with minimal external components, virtually zero standby current, and high operating efficiency. These H-bridge ICs are pin-compatible with earlier (linear output) models making it possible to migrate to PWM control without any modifications to the PCB layout.
