Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP3429 Switching Regulators

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP3429 Switching Regulators are highly integrated boost converters with a 600kHz fixed frequency and wide input range in a QFN-13 (3mm x 4mm) package. These converters offer the selection of pulse-skip mode (PSM), forced continuous conduction mode (FCCM), and ultrasonic mode (USM) in light load conditions. The regulators adopt constant-off-time (COT) control topology to provide a fast transient response. The cycle-by-cycle current limit on the low-side MOSFET prevents current runaway, while the high-side MOSFET eliminates the need for an external Schottky diode. MPS MP3429 Switching Regulators are designed with overtemperature protection (OTP) and programmable input undervoltage lockout (UVLO) protection. Applications include notebooks, BLUETOOTH® speakers, portable point-of-sale (POS), and quick-charge power banks.
