Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MEZS7-SharedPowerBank Switching Charger

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MEZS7-SharedPowerBank Switching Charger is an integrated platform using the MP2696A buck charger with boost output, LED state-of-charge indicator, and an MCU to achieve a turn-key solution for shared power bank applications.

The MP2696A is a highly integrated, flexible, switch-mode battery charge management and system power path management device. The MP2696A offers three operation modes: a charge mode, boost mode and sleep mode. The solution module provides up to 3.6A of charge current from a 5V micro USB input source in charge mode. The solution module delivers up to 3.6A to a regulated 5V USB-A output for charging external devices such as smartphones in boost mode.

The MPS MEZS7-SharedPowerBank Switching Charger allows the parameters and controls to be easily accessed via the I2C interface.
