Mikroe MIKROE-3201 3xBuck click

Mikroe MIKROE-3201 3xBuck Click is a triple step-down (buck) converter Click board. The 3xBuck click offers features including three independent output terminals providing 1.8V, 3.3V, and 5V with the combined current output up to 3A. Other key features offered are low power dissipation due to high efficiency, overcurrent, overvoltage, and thermal protection. Additionally, the device has an output voltage adjustment over the industry-standard I2C interface. The voltage at each output can be switched to a programmable internal voltage divider, fine-tuning the output voltage when required.

The MIKROE-3201 3xBuck click TPS65263, a triple synchronous step-down converter with programmable dynamic voltage scaling, from Texas Instruments. The TPS65263 operates at a fixed frequency of 600kHz and contains three independent switching sections. Not all three sections share the same characteristics. One buck section uses the switching clock which is 180° out-of-phase. This ensures a low input current ripple, as well as the lowered EMI of the power supply itself, with respect to other two sections.
