
Melexis MLX91218 Low Field IMC-Hall® Current Sensor
Melexis MLX91218 Low Field (LF) IMC-Hall® Current Sensor Integrated Circuit (IC) is designed for lower current applications (below 100A), making it ideal for electric vehicle (EV) charging cables, micro-grids, and smart energy monitoring in residential and small industrial power distribution units. The non-intrusive technology is also suitable for clamp-on measurement applications. This AxL-version sensor provides a measurement range for current from 1A to 200A. Melexis MLX91218 Low Field (LF) IMC-Hall Current Sensor IC offers a 400kHz bandwidth and 2µs response time, enabling small current changes to be detected at high speed. The sensor ensures accurate measurement in a range of operating environments thanks to its low noise, high linearity (±0.5% full scale), and low thermal drift across a wide temperature range. The module features a SOIC-8 (DC) package that is RoHS compliant.Features
