MEAN WELL BIC-5K 5kW AC⇄DC Bidirectional Power Supplies are engineered for bidirectional energy conversion to provide a green energy solution. These grid-tied energy conversion power supplies convert AC power to DC to charge batteries and recover DC energy, converting it back to AC power and feeding it into the grid. Through these energy recovery and reuse functions, users can effectively lower electricity costs while reducing carbon emissions and enhancing energy efficiency. The BIC-5K series features parallel operation up to 30kW, built-in communication interfaces, and <1ms seamless bidirectional switching. MEAN WELL BIC-5K 5kW AC⇄DC Bidirectional Power Supplies come with a 5-year warranty and comprehensive global certifications. Typical applications include battery cell formation and grading, energy storage systems, battery test systems, power supply burn-in systems, and vehicle-to-grid (V2G).
