Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated MAX40016 4-Decade Current Sense Amplifier
Analog Devices Inc. MAX40016 4-Decade Current Sense Amplifier features an internal sense element that senses current range from less than 300µA to greater than 3A. The 4-decade sensed current functions with a 1% (typical) gain error. The amplifier offers three multiplexed programmable output ranges to interface with 12-bit ADCs. Having an integrated sense element means the entire current measuring path can be factory-trimmed. This feature saves time and cost by not having to calibrate independent sense resistors and CSAs. The Analog Devices Inc. MAX40016 4-Decade Current Sense Amplifier drops a typical of 60mV at 3A from the voltage input to load output.Features
