CML Micro EV9942EF Evaluation Board
CML Micro EV9942EF Evaluation Board enables detailed evaluation of the CMX994EF high‑performance direct conversion receiver IC. This board provides access to all RF, baseband, and control signals through connectors and test points, allowing easy connection to standard RF and baseband test equipment. The EV9942EF evaluation board includes additional circuitry for system‑level evaluation, including a high‑frequency VCO and support for an optional Fractional‑N PLL. All signal paths are impedance‑matched using appropriate components to ensure accurate performance measurements. The EV9942EF evaluation board supports RF operation from 100MHz to 1000MHz range, with a default operating frequency of 448MHz. The CMX994EF is controlled via its C-BUS serial interface. Optional PC‑based control is available using the PE0003 interface card and associated CML software.
