Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated MAX77785EVKIT/MAX77786EVKIT Evaluation Kits
Analog Devices MAX77785EVKIT/MAX77786EVKIT Evaluation Kits present fully assembled and tested printed circuit boards (PCB) that feature the MAX77785/MAX77786 single-cell lithium-ion battery chargers. The MAX77785/MAX77786 ICs supply a reverse boost and fully integrated low-power loss switches to deliver a small solution size and high efficiency. The kits exhibit the performance of the MAX77785/MAX77786 charger and furnish the convenience of evaluating full USB Type-C™ power-delivery (PD) solutions with the MAX77958 USB Type-C PD controller. This combination provides for fast charging of the battery through the USB Type-C port and reverse powering the USB Type-C port with the battery on-the-go (OTG) mode. A Micro-B USB cable is included in the ADI MAX77785EVKIT/MAX77786EVKIT kit to function as the interface from a USB port on a Windows® PC to the subordinate I2C port on the MAX77785/MAX77786.
