Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated MAX20411 Automotive Single Step-Down Converters
Analog Devices MAX20411 Automotive Single Step-Down Converters supply a 0.5V to 1.275V output voltage range and operate from 3.0V to 5.5V input. The wide input/output voltage range and the capability to deliver up to 40A peak output current makes the MAX20411 ideal for onboard point-of-load and post-regulation applications. The ADI MAX20411 reaches as low as ±0.75% output error over load, line, and temperature ranges. The device offers a 2.1MHz fixed-frequency PWM mode for better noise immunity and load-transient response. The 2.1MHz frequency operation permits using all ceramic capacitors and minimizes external components. The spread-spectrum frequency modulation option minimizes radiated electromagnetic emissions. Low RDS(ON) switches enhance efficiency at heavy loads and simplify layouts.
The MAX20411 features the MAXQ® power architecture, which supplies precision transient performance and phase margin. This architecture enables maximum power, performance, and precision while minimizing system costs for any specific application.
