Analog Devices Inc. LTC5586 Series 6GHz High Linearity Demodulators

Analog Devices Inc. LTC5586 Series 6GHz High Linearity I/Q Demodulators with Wideband IF Amplifier are developed for high linearity zero-IF and low-IF receiver applications. The LTC5586 from Analog Devices is ideal for the demodulation of very wide-band signals, with a very wide IF bandwidth of 1GHz. The LTC5586 is designed for demanding infrastructure direct conversion applications, with an excellent dynamic range. The dynamic range of true zero-IF receivers is optimized by the DC offset control function that allows nulling of the DC offset at the A/D converter input.

Using a single device the wide-band RF and LO input ports make it achievable to cover all the major wireless infrastructure frequency bands. There is no need of additional amplifiers in the IF signal path with the high OIP3 and high conversion gain of the LTC5586.
