Analog Devices Inc. ADP165 Very Low Quiescent Current LDO Regulators
Analog Devices ADP165 Very Low Quiescent Current LDO Regulators are low dropout, linear regulators that operate from 2.2V to 5.5V and offer up to 150mA of output current. ADP165's low 120mV dropout voltage at 150mA load improves efficiency and enables operation over a wide input voltage range. The ADP165 also contains a switched resistor to discharge the output automatically when the LDO is disabled. The devices' short-circuit and thermal overload protection circuits prevent damage in adverse situations.ADP165 is designed for stable operation with a tiny 1µF ±30% ceramic input and output capacitors while meeting the requirements of high-performance, space-constrained applications.
Available in a WLCSP-4 package, the Analog Devices ADP165 offers a small footprint solution for a range of portable power applications, including portable and battery-powered equipment, post-DC-to-DC regulation, portable medical devices, and wireless sensor network (WSN) devices.
