ams OSRAM AS6223 Digital Temperature Sensors

ams OSRAM AS6223 Digital Temperature Sensors are a high-accuracy sensor system that communicates through a two-wire digital bus with other devices. The AS6223 IC includes a Si bandgap temperature sensor, an ADC, and a digital signal processor. The sensor is specifically designed for use in applications where a compact form factor with good performance is needed, such as in mobile devices that measure the temperature of the PCB and electronics. The tiny form factor and ultra-low power consumption (low operation and quiescent current) make the AS6223 ideal for mobile/battery-powered applications.

The ams OSRAM AS6223 Digital Temperature Sensors are easy to integrate and use, featuring a factory-calibrated sensor, integrated linearization, and the possibility to use four different I2C addresses, allowing the use of up to four AS6223 devices on one bus. The AS6223 production test setup is calibrated in accordance with NIST standards, and an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory calibrates the verification equipment. The AS6223 accomplishes NIST traceability.
