Alliance Memory eMMC Device

Alliance Memory eMMC Devices integrates NAND flash memory with an eMMC controller and Flash Transition Layer (FTL) management software in a single package. This device speeds up product development, improves time to market, and saves space by eliminating the need for an external controller. The embedded Multi-Media Card (eMMC) device supports eMMC/JEDEC 5.1 industry standard and is backward compatible with eMMC 4.5 and 5.0 versions. This device comes in an 11.5mm x 13mm 153-ball FBGA package. The embedded multi-media card (eMMC) device features up to 200MHz MMC I/F clock frequency, up to 52MHz MMC I/F boot frequency, and programmable bus width. This device operates within a -40°C to 85°C temperature range, 2.7V to 3.6V (for NAND Flash memory) supply voltage, and 1.7V to 1.95V or 2.7V to 3.6V (for interfaces) supply voltage. Typical applications include consumer, industrial, and networking products.

  • Full backward compatibility with previous eMMC 4.41/4.5/5.0 specification and MultiMediaCard system specification (1bit data bus and multi-eMMC systems)
  • Programmable bus width: 1bit (Default), 4bit, and 8bit data bus
