Panasonic Grid-EYE High Performance Infrared Array Sensors
Panasonic Grid-EYE High-Performance Infrared Array Sensors are surface mountable and feature 64 thermopile elements in an 8x8 grid format that detect absolute temperatures by infrared radiation. Grid-EYE can provide thermal images by measuring actual temperature and temperature gradients.
Grid-EYE enables the detection of multiple persons, identification of positions, and direction of movement, almost independent of ambient light conditions without disturbing privacy as with conventional cameras.
The built-in silicon lens provides a viewing angle of 60°. Measurement values are viewable through an I²C interface in 1 or 10 frames per second. The interrupt signal output quickly responds to time-critical events for a high degree of flexibility.

Panasonic Infrared Array Sensor Grid-EYE Narrow Angle are high-precision infrared array sensors based on advanced MEMS technology that features temperature detection of a two-dimensional area: 8 x 8 (64 pixels). The narrow-angle Grid-EYE sensors offer digital output, PCB mounting with connector, and are RoHS compliant. Typical applications include microwaves, lighting control, digital signage, and automatic doors/elevators.

Analog Devices MAXREFDES131# Evaluation Kit features the Panasonic AMG8833 Grid-EYE® Sensor. The MAXREFDES131# enables presence sensing, people counting, and gestures while tethered to 100m along the 1-Wire bus.
The MAXREFDES131# features the Panasonic AMG8833 Grid-EYE® Sensor and the Maxim 1-Wire® bus, enabled by the DS28E17. The board features RJ-11 connectors and convenient mounting holes for quick evaluation and implementation.
Panasonic Grid-EYE Evaluation Kit
Panasonic Grid-EYE AMG8834EVAL Evaluation Kit features TrackMe Software for its Grid-EYE Infrared Array Sensor and integrates a "nanopower" Bluetooth Smart module and a microcontroller. The AMG8834EVAL Kit is intended to prototype the Grid-EYE Sensor, a 64-pixel IR camera in a surface mount package measuring 11.6mm x 8mm x 4.3mm, which integrates the MEMS Sensor, lens, and I2C interface.
The integrated Panasonic Bluetooth® module in the AMG8834EVAL is the PAN1740 Series and draws 4.9mA in transmit or receive operating modes, allowing power by coin cell batteries. The IR sensor has 64 thermopile elements in an 8x8 grid format that detects absolute surface temperature without contact.
