IXYS IXBOD2 Breakover Diode Modules

IXYS IXBOD2 Breakover Diode Modules are high-voltage protection devices designed to provide fast and reliable overvoltage protection in demanding power electronics applications. The IXBOD2 breakover diodes feature an exceptionally fast turn-on response, low leakage current, and minimal temperature dependence. The devices provide very low off-state current, high dv/dt capability up to 3000V/μs, and surge current handling up to 200A. These features make the devices ideal for safeguarding sensitive circuits against transient voltage events, lightning strikes, arcing conditions, and battery overvoltage conditions. Available in a range of breakover voltages from 700V to over 4000V, the IXYS IXBOD2 series offers flexible protection solutions for industrial, energy, and high-voltage system designs.
