Analog Devices Inc. CN0549 Condition Based Monitoring Development Platform (CbM) employs vibration sensing growing in importance for industrial applications. Companies seek to optimize machinery lifetime and performance and reduce the cost of ownership, while some are looking to develop new business models around the provision of such information. To provide an accurate representation of machinery that needs monitoring, large datasets must be collected to determine a baseline operating point for the equipment in normal operational modes and failure conditions. Once this data is collected, an algorithm or threshold detection routine can be created to provide the correct analysis for this equipment.

EVAL-XLMOUNT1 Mounting Block

Analog Devices Inc. EVAL-XLMOUNT1 Mounting Block is a mechanically optimized mounting block for accelerometer breakout boards. The aluminum EVAL-XLMOUNT1 can secure an accelerometer to any source acceleration, such as a shaker table, while providing optimized mechanical characteristics for evaluating the sensor frequency response and other characteristics. The EVAL-XLMOUNT1 Mounting Block provides a ±1.5dB flat response up to 20kHz. The accelerometer breakout board can be attached to the mounting block in multiple orientations along the five different faces of the block.

EVAL-XLMOUNT1 Board

Analog Devices Inc. EVAL-XLMOUNT1 Board is an aluminum mounting block with a central mounting hole. This block can be used to secure an accelerometer to any source acceleration using this mounting hole while providing optimized mechanical characteristics. The EVAL-XLMOUNT1 mounting block is mechanically optimized to give a ±1.5dB flat response up to 20kHz. The accelerometer breakout board can be attached to the mounting block in multiple orientations along five different faces of the block.
