KEMET A720 Aluminum Organic Capacitors

KEMET A720 Aluminum Organic Capacitors (AO-CAPs) are solid-state aluminum capacitors with a conductive organic polymer cathode. This conductive organic polymer results in low equivalent series resistance (ESR) and improved capacitance retention at a high frequency. These capacitors operate at steady voltages up to 100% of rated voltage without the need to derate, while the lack of liquid electrolyte results in long operational lifetimes and high operational temperatures. The inherent low ESR makes the A720 series suitable for high ripple-current handling. KEMET A720 AO-CAPs are ideal for use in high-performance microprocessor, FPGA, and ASIC decoupling designs.
