Microchip Technology MIC4103/MIC4104 Gate Drivers

Microchip Technology MIC4103/MIC4104 Gate Drivers are high-frequency, 100V half-bridge MOSFET drivers with independently controlled high-side and low-side outputs. The devices supply fast turn-off characteristics, an integrated high-voltage bootstrap diode, a robust level shifter, and undervoltage protection for both drivers. The MIC4103 employs CMOS input thresholds, while the MIC4104 utilizes TTL input thresholds.

The Microchip MIC4103/MIC4104 drivers support clean high-side output transitions during supply glitches, high-speed voltage changes, and HS ringing below ground. The devices have asymmetrical, low-impedance outputs and support high-voltage buck converters, full- and half-bridge power topologies, active clamp forward converters, two-switch forward topologies, and digital controller interfaces.
