EMI Noise Suppression

Noise suppression has become an important issue, especially regarding electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Murata provides engineers with complete support, including products and design-simulation software solutions based on expertise achieved through extensive on-site experience. This enables Murata to provide noise suppression solutions for a broad array of applications.

Examples of Actions Taken to Comply With CISPR25

There are many types of problematic noise emitted from devices installed in vehicles. Murata specifically examined noise that is radiated from the USB signal cables. Murata used measures to suppress noise in signal lines and in power lines and present the following examples and test data.

BLM Chip Ferrite Beads

Murata BLM Chip Ferrite Beads are designed for power supply circuits that require high rated current. The ferrites are suitable for suppressing high-frequency noise over a wide frequency range in power supply circuits. Murata BLM EMIFIL Chip Ferrite Beads offer AEC-Q200 certified products for automotive applications such as infotainment and powertrain safety applications. Non-automotive grade ferrites are ideal for general purpose power supply circuits, including industrial, factory automation, and networking.

BLM Ferrite Beads for Powertrain & Safety

Murata Electronics BLM Ferrite Beads for Powertrain and Safety include optimum components that meet various rated current and noise frequency ranges. These ferrite beads include products that support currents up to 20A and other similar series suitable for power circuits. BLM ferrite beads from Murata handle large currents, making them suitable for harsh environments and various powertrain and safety applications.

Automotive Noise / EMI Suppression Filters

Murata Electronics Automotive Noise / EMI Suppression Filters offer components for noise suppression from various approaches, such as small-sized EMI suppression filters and AC line filters that effectively suppress noise. Also among these components are ferrite cores and microwave absorbers, which suppress noise even after the set is completed. Murata offers ESD protection devices that protect semiconductors from static electricity entering from outside.

AI Server Application Solutions

Murata Electronics provides a wide range of products suitable for AI environments and applications. Due to demanding AI requirements, engineers must address challenges like heat management, power efficiency, and signal integrity to keep pace with the increasing complexity of AI workloads. These advanced, reliable components from Murata help meet these challenges head-on. Designed to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and reliability in AI server infrastructure, these products enable engineers to create systems that can scale with future advancements in AI.

Murata Chip Ferrite Beads Series: BLM

The Murata Chip Ferrite Beads, BLM series, are widely used to suppress unwanted noise in electronic circuits for frequencies ranging from a few MHz to a few GHz. Offering an innovative line up in sizes as small as EIA 01005, Murata Chip Ferrite Beads BLM series comprise a broad range of noise countermeasure solutions specifically designed for Digital Interface, High Speed Signal, Large Current, and GHz range applications.
