Grinn GenioSOM-700 System-on-Module (SoM) is a high‑performance SoM engineered for advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI), multimedia, and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The Grinn GenioSOM-700 is built around the powerful MediaTek MT8390 IoT processor. The SoM combines a dual‑core Arm^® Cortex^®‑A78 with a hexa‑core Cortex‑A55 CPU cluster, delivering a balance of high compute performance and energy‑efficient multitasking. To support demanding visual and AI workloads, the module integrates an Arm Mali™‑G57 MC3 GPU with modern graphics API support (Vulkan^® 1.1, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL™ 2.2) and a Cadence^® Tensilica^® VP6 AI Processor Unit, enabling efficient on‑device machine learning acceleration. The device's multimedia engine supports 4K video encoding at 30fps and 4K video decoding up to 75fps across major formats, including AV1, VP9, HEVC, and H.264. The image pipeline allows high‑resolution capture up to 32MP single‑camera or dual 16MP setups, making the GenioSOM-700 well‑suited for computer vision tasks.
