Nordic Semiconductor nRF93M1 Smart Modem Modules deliver global connectivity for more data-intensive cellular IoT applications. These modules are easy to use, compact, and pre-certified LTE Cat 1 bis modules. The nRF93M1 smart modem modules support up to 10Mbps downlink/5Mbps uplink at low power in an optimized single-antenna design. These modules ship preprogrammed with signed firmware that implements the LTE protocol stack, IP, and upper-layer protocols, and other functions. The nRF93M1 smart modem modules integrate Wi-Fi® and cellular location and a rich set of features enabling optimized, robust designs. These modules are available in multi-regional and global module options that are fully pin and interface-compatible. Typical applications include asset tracking, fleet management, security and surveillance, gateway and data concentrators, telematics, and point-of-sale terminals.
