NEUTRIK ultimatePLUG two-pole 1/4" professional plug combines the functions of the silentPLUG and timbrePLUG in one product. The ultimatePLUG automatically mutes an instrument cable to avoid pops and squeals when changing the instrument under load. The integrated silent switch is based on REED-technology and guarantees a lifetime beyond 10,000 mating cycles. NEUTRIK ultimatePLUG provides the possibility to change the timbre of a guitar sound from neutral, clear sound to warm characteristics in four steps by turning a knob on the plug. It opens a wide range of new sounds.
