The cables are available with AMC, AMMC, BNC, MCX, MMCX, SMA, SMB, and other commercially available RF connector series. Amphenol RF Fixed-Length Cable Assemblies are ideally suited for commercial and industrial applications that require standard configurations or lengths.

5G Wireless Connectors

Amphenol RF 5G Wireless Connectors feature innovative product lines with industry-standard connectors, adapters, and cable assemblies that equip designs for 5G next-generation mobile network standards. These Amphenol RF devices ensure high data rates for low-latency applications. These connectors, adapters, and cable assemblies include high-density, cost-effective, and robust products to enable the wireless infrastructure evolution. Amphenol RF offers low PIM products, including HD-EFI, N-Type, PSMP, SMP, SMPM, 2.2/5, 4.3/10, and 7/16 connector series, as well as cable assemblies and adapters.

SMP Cable Assemblies

Amphenol RF SMP Cable Assemblies are designed for high-performance RF and microwave applications that require a compact size, superior signal integrity, and quick mating. These assemblies feature a push-on or snap-on SMP interface on one or both ends, delivering reliable electrical performance up to 20GHz. The robust design enables high-frequency signal transmission with low loss and excellent repeatability, including in applications with demanding mechanical or environmental conditions. Engineers across multiple industries use SMP cable assemblies for high-density and high-frequency connectivity in systems where space and performance are essential. Typical applications include aerospace and defense systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and test and measurement equipment.

SMP Connectors

Amphenol RF SMP Connectors feature a subminiature interface in the same scale as MMCX connectors while offering a frequency range of DC to 40GHz. These SMP connectors are commonly used in miniaturized high-frequency coaxial modules and are offered in both push-on and snap-on mating styles. The interface is ideal for PC board-to-board interconnect and utilizes a male connector on each of the PC boards and a female-to-female adapter mounted in between to complete the connection. The female adapter is often called a bullet and is necessary to provide a flexible link between the male connectors. This flexible link allows 0.020" of radial float and 0.010" of the axial float. One male connector is typically specified as a snap-on interface and the other as a push-on. This ensures the bullet adapter remains fixed in the same male connector if the PC boards are separated. Amphenol RF SMP connectors feature bullets in multiple lengths for different board spacing.
