STBC02 Li-Ion/Li-Po Battery Evaluation Board

STMicroelectronics STBC02 Li-Ion/Li-Po Battery Power Management Evaluation Board integrates a linear charger for single-cell Li-ion batteries with battery protection functions, an LDO regulator, two SPDT load switches, and intelligent reset logic. The STB02 evaluation board works in standalone mode and provides full access to the STBC02 functions through header connectors and can be supplied via a micro-AB USB connector. The input supply voltage offers two functions by providing power to the LDO regulator and charging the battery. The device switches to battery power automatically when the input voltage is not present and the battery is not empty. Two embedded 3Ω SPDT load switches intelligently manage the overall system power consumption when shutdown mode is activated and the battery power consumption is reduced to less than 100nA.
