TIM 3.5 & TIM 3.5SM DC/DC Converters

TRACO Power TIM 3.5 and TIM 3.5SM DC/DC Converters are regulated 3.5W high-performance DC/DC converters with a reinforced 5000V_AC/RMS isolation for medical applications. The reinforced I/O isolation system complies with the medical safety requirements for 2 x MOPP (Means of Patient Protection) according to IEC/EN/ES 60601-1 3rd edition. These TRACO Power converters feature less than 2µA leakage current and are designed to insulate electrical equipment from the applied parts to the patient (BF classification). The TIM 3.5 and 3.5SM DC/DC converters operate within an extended -40°C to +90°C temperature range. These converters are available in compact footprints measuring only 0.95" x 0.57" x 0.40" and either a DIP-16 or SMD package. The TIM 3.5 and 3.5SM converters are suitable for B or BF-rated medical equipment, industrial control equipment, measurement equipment, transportation systems, and some IGBT driver applications.
