DRV8212P H-Bridge Motor Driver

Texas Instruments DRV8212P 12V, 3A H-Bridge Motor Driver provides PWM control with low power sleep mode, optimized for systems with lower current requirements. The DRV8212P Motor Driver is integrated with four N-channel power FETs, a charge pump regulator, and protection circuitry. The triple charge pump architecture allows the device to operate down to 1.65V to accommodate 1.8V supply rails and low-battery conditions. The charge pump integrates all capacitors to reduce the overall solution size of the motor driver on a PCB and allows for 100% duty cycle operation.

DRV8837 1.8A Low Voltage Brushed DC Motor Driver

Texas Instruments DRV8837 1.8A Low Voltage Brushed DC Motor Driver is the world's smallest 1.8A brushed DC motor driver. TI DRV8837 comes in a tiny, 2 x 2mm 8-pin WSON package, a 75% reduction in size versus the next nearest competitor, enabling smaller, sleeker designs. At 280mΩ, the RDS(ON) is half that of competing devices, supporting 1.8A continuous output current with excellent thermal performance. The small package size, low RDS(ON), and ultra-low 35nA sleep current make DRV8837 DC Motor Driver ideal for portable medical and robotics applications. DRV8837EVM evaluation module demonstrates the capabilities and performance of the DRV8837 motor driver.

DRV8837C Low-Voltage H-Bridge Drivers

Texas Instruments DRV8837C Low-Voltage H-Bridge Drivers provide an integrated motor driver solution for various applications. These include cameras, consumer products, toys, and other low-voltage or battery-powered motion control applications. This device can drive one DC motor or other devices like solenoids. The output driver block consists of N-channel power MOSFETs that are configured as an H-bridge to drive the motor winding. An internal charge pump generates the needed gate drive voltages. The DRV8837C can supply up to 1A of output current. The device operates on a motor power supply voltage from 0 to 11V. The control logic can operate on 1.8V to 5V rails. The Texas Instruments DRV8837C includes a PWM (IN/IN) input interface. Internal shutdown functions are provided for overcurrent protection, short circuit protection, under-voltage lockout, and over-temperature.

Texas Instruments DRV8x motor drivers are intended to drive an electromagnetic machine, such as a brushed or brushless motor, stepper motor, or other electromechanical actuator. The TI DRV8x family of integrated motor drivers enable designers to quickly and easily spin their motors, reducing time to market and greatly simplifying design. By integrating the gate drive circuitry, sense amps, protection, FETS, industry standard control interfaces, and drive algorithms, the design complexity, board space, and time to spin a motor have all be greatly reduced.
