Infotainment & Navigation Solutions

Littelfuse Infotainment and Navigation Solutions protect against ESD, surges, and overcurrents that threaten the advanced electronic ecosystems in vehicles. These ecosystems integrate technologies like Wi-Fi®, BLUETOOTH®, USB data/charging inputs, AUX inputs, telematics, navigation, and more into a graphical user interface on the dashboard. Littelfuse offers a line of SMD PPTCs and fuses, TVS diodes and diode arrays, MLVs, and XTREME-GUARD™ suppressors that keep these robust systems operating as designed.

AQ3045 30kV Bidirectional Discrete TVS Diodes

Littelfuse AQ3045 0.35pF, 30kV Bidirectional Discrete TVS Diodes are fabricated in a proprietary silicon avalanche technology to provide protection for electronic equipment that may experience destructive electrostatic discharges (ESD). Littelfuse AQ3045 robust diodes can safely absorb repetitive ESD strikes up to the maximum level specified in the IEC 61000-4-2 international standard (±30kV contact discharge) without performance degradation. The back-to-back configuration provides symmetrical ESD protection for data lines when AC signals are present and the low loading capacitance makes it ideal for protecting high speed data lines, such as HDMI, USB2.0, USB3.0, and eSATA.

ESD Protection Solutions

Littelfuse provides a wide range of products that protect components from ESD threats. ESD threats are extremely fast, low-energy events that can wreak havoc on electronic equipment. Trends in reduced chip protection and harsher end-user environments are requiring the need for enhanced protection solutions. Automotive TVS Diodes

Littelfuse AEC-Q101 Qualified TVS Diodes protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by load dump and other transient voltage events. These AEC-Q101 qualified devices offer peak pulse power dissipation ratings of 400W (SZ1SMA) to 3000W (TPSMD). Littelfuse AEC-Q101 Qualified TVS Diodes are ideal for applications such as DC power protection and ESD protection in automotive electronics such as electronic control units, sensors, and entertainment systems, as well as in portable devices that require high reliability. 

AQx AEC-Q101 TVS Diode Arrays

Littelfuse AQx AEC-Q101 TVS Diode Arrays provide protection for electronic equipment that may experience destructive electrostatic discharges (ESD). These robust diodes can safely absorb repetitive ESD strikes from 7A up to ±30kV (contact discharge, IEC 61000-4-2). These Littelfuse arrays are PPAP capable, single-origin flow from wafer creation through testing, tape, and reel. Littelfuse AQx automotive-grade TVS diode arrays offer durable protection for current and emerging interfaces in the automotive industry.

TVS Silicon Protection Arrays (SPA)

Littelfuse Silicon Protection Array (SPA®) TVS Diodes are designed to protect electronics from very fast and damaging voltage transients, such as lightning and electrostatic discharge (ESD). These diodes offer an ideal protection solution for I/O interfaces and digital and analog signal lines in computer and consumer portable electronics. Littelfuse TVS diodes offer a broader application use and improved impulse protection performance over conventional diodes.

Automotive Qualified SPA TVS Diodes

Littelfuse Automotive Qualified SPA TVS Diodes are capable of production part approval processes (PPAP) with a single origin flow from wafer creation and testing to tape and reel. These AEC-Q101 qualified diodes offer durable protection for current and emerging automotive technologies. Typical applications for Littelfuse Automotive Qualified SPA TVS Diodes include CAN bus, HSSI Ethernet, DC powerlines, data lines, and general I/O.
