The semi-rigid cable assemblies use proprietary/specific technologies to tolerate lower temperatures up to tens of mK, and these technologies have been tested in the laboratory and the field. Due to space constraints, miniature and multi-coaxial connectors with semi-rigid cables are vital in quantum computing. RF attenuators are used in different stages of the thermal dilution refrigerator, reducing the thermal noise in the signal.
