EKMB & EKMC Wide Field-of-View PIR Motion Sensors

Panasonic EKMB and EKMC Wide Field-of-View Passive Infrared (PIR) Motion Sensors feature a flat, rectangular shape that offers improved detection in a single axis up to 150°. Overlapping detection zones allow these sensors to detect motion directly approaching the sensor. Panasonic EKMB and EKMC Wide Field-of-View PIR Motion Sensors are available in black, white, and pearl white lens colors with current consumption as low as 1μA for battery-powered applications. These sensors are RoHS and REACH compliant. Typical applications include lighting control, thermostats, video intercoms and doorbells, IP cameras, TVs and PC monitors, and more.

EKMC PIR Motion Sensors

Panasonic EKMC Passive Infrared (PIR) Motion Sensors offer long-distance detection up to 15m and a high-density embedded circuit design that eliminates external sensing circuits. Black, white, and pearl white lens colors are available. These passive infrared-type sensors detect temperature changes (>4°C) from nearby surroundings to detect movement. With a wide sensing area, the low-profile PaPIRs are available with a polyethylene (9.7mm) or silicon lens (6mm). Panasonic EKMC PIR Motion Sensors are ideal for security devices, wireless devices, housing and commercial equipment, and energy-saving home appliances.
