Mini50 Unsealed Automotive Connectors

Molex Mini50 Unsealed Automotive Connectors are a wire-to-board connection system with smaller terminals to fit more low-current electrical circuits in interior, unsealed, transportation-vehicle environments. The CTX50 mating terminal wire grip design offers the ability to reduce wire gauge sizes while maintaining retention strength. The design achieves a 50% space savings compared to traditional USCAR standard 0.64mm unsealed connector systems. Orientation features are molded into the header, vertical or right angle options provide wire-routing and module design flexibility. This system includes gold, SMT, and 2Ckt size models, tape and reel options, plus models with an independent secondary lock (ISL) and connector position assurance (CPA). Molex Mini50 Unsealed Automotive Connectors are well-suited for automotive and commercial transportation applications including headliners, navigation, radios, cameras, HVAC, switches, lighting, mirrors, and steering wheel columns.

Molex Mini50™ with ILS and CPA

Molex Mini50™ Unsealed Auto Connectors with ILS and CPA achieve 50% space savings over traditional USCAR 0.64mm connectors.  The current Mini50 connectors have an independent secondary lock (ISL) where the new additions contain the ISL in addition to being bridged with CPAs. The Mini50 Unsealed Auto Connectors have expanded to include a 2Ckt size option.
