Connected Drug Delivery Device Ecosystem Solutions

Littelfuse features a wide portfolio of products used to build and enhance drug delivery systems. These drug delivery systems include auto-injectors, continuous glucose monitors, insulin pumps, drug delivery pens, and wearable injectors. Products offered by Littelfuse for these applications include detect switches, plunger position sensors, microcontrollers, thermistors, TVS diode arrays, gate drivers, and fuses.

Drone Subsystems

Littelfuse Drone Subsystems offer solutions for USB-C PD and Li-ion battery chargers, battery pack systems, and BLDC motors. These subsystems offer fuses for various functions, including AC input overcurrent protection and fault isolation, protection of the battery and downstream controller, pack, wiring, and controller. The drone subsystems provide TVS diodes for primary-side switching transient suppression and cell monitor IC sense line input overvoltage protection. Littelfuse Commercial and Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Systems offer solutions for Li-Ion battery protection, battery chargers, and power distribution. These systems provide fuses for input protection/overcurrent protection, MOSFETs for semiconductor switching, and TVS diodes for DC output transient/surge protection. The commercial and tactical UAV systems offer battery protection >60V and provide main-pack fault isolation, battery disconnect/power path control (pre-charge support), and branch circuit overcurrent protection. Typical applications include Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), military, border surveillance, agriculture, delivery/logistics, inspection, and public safety.

Consumer Drone Systems

Littelfuse Consumer Drone Systems offer solutions for battery chargers, battery systems, and payload systems. These systems provide Schottky diodes for output rectification/reverse blocking, TVS diodes for secondary protection against voltage transients, and fuses to protect the power stage from overcurrent. The systems offer USB-C® for consumer drones with a 5V to 48V range and up to 240W (typical 100W to 140W), and provide battery protection for <60V. Typical applications include photography/video, FPV racing, and recreational flying.

RB 0603 SMD End-Banded Chip Thermistors

Littelfuse RB 0603 SMD End-Banded Chip Thermistors are designed for use on hybrid substrates, integrated circuits, or printed circuit boards. The RB thermistors feature a solder-coated metallization that is suited for various contact techniques, including wire bond, epoxy, or solder. Manufactured using advanced equipment and technology, the dimensional parameters are extremely uniform, which makes the devices suitable for use with automatic handling and placement equipment.

Communications Infrastructure Solutions

Littelfuse provides a wide range of communication infrastructure solutions that ensure speed and reliability in all environments. These solutions are energy efficient, dependable, and easy to incorporate into compact designs. Battery Fuel Gauge IC Protection

Littelfuse offers protection components for battery fuel gauge ICs. Battery Fuel Gauge ICs are critical components to the battery management system within battery-operated electronics, including drones, medical equipment, small appliances, and mobile and wearable devices. Fuel gauge ICs monitor the battery state of charge, sending the data to power management ICs to provide optimal battery life, longevity, and overall system performance. Protecting the fuel gauge ICs is important due to the increased voltage in batteries up to 20V for USB-C. Sustained overvoltage, ESD, overcurrent faults, and overheating are all hazards that could damage the battery management system if proper protection is not used. 

Surface Mount Thermistors

Littelfuse Surface Mount Thermistors offer a 0.7Ω to 500,000Ω resistance range and a maximum operating range of -55°C to +220°C. The Littelfuse Surface Mount Thermistors portfolio includes surface mount end-banded chip thermistors, leadless top/bottom terminated chip thermistors, inrush current limiters (power thermistors), and more.
