Automotive Ceramic Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX Automotive Ceramic Capacitors feature a wide range of multilayer ceramic capacitor technologies that meet or exceed AEC-Q200 requirements. These KYOCERA AVX capacitors include surface-mount and leaded MLCCs as well as surface-mount feedthru filters.

F97 SMD J-Lead Tantalum Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX F97 Tantalum Capacitors are surface-mount J-lead devices compliant with AEC-Q200 requirements. These resin-molded chip capacitors feature high reliability and a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. KYOCERA AVX F97 Tantalum Capacitors are ideal for automotive electronics and industrial equipment applications. 

AVX F97 Series High Reliability Solid Tantalum Electrolytic Capacitors

AVX F97 Series High Reliability Solid Tantalum Electrolytic Capacitors are resin-molded, high-temperature chip capacitors that are AEC-Q200 compliant, making them ideal for use in automotive electronics (engine ECU) and industrial equipment.  The F97 Series High Reliability Solid Tantalum Electrolytic Capacitors from AVX offer moisture resistance, capacitance range from 0.47µF to 100µF, voltage range from 6.3V to 35V, operating temperature range from -55ºC to +125ºC (rated temperature: 85ºC), and compliance to RoHS directive 2002/95/EC.

High CV SMD Capacitor Solutions

KYOCERA AVX High Capacitance / Voltage (CV) SMD Capacitors are designed to enable optimum performance across all power applications. This ceramic capacitor solution for SMD applications includes extremely high CV (X5R) MLCCs with low ESR for general-purpose decoupling and filtering and high CV (X7R, X7S, and X8R) MLCCs with FlexiTerm for industrial, automotive (AEC-Q200), and commercial applications. KYOCERA AVX Electrolytic Capacitor solutions include small case size tantalum chip, conductive polymer, and fail-safe niobium oxide (Oxicap™) that overlap with commercial, industrial, and AEC-Q200 ceramic ratings, in many cases providing interchangeable solutions. In contrast, the larger case sizes provide even higher CV options.

MnO2 Tantalum Automotive Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX MnO2 Tantalum Automotive Capacitors are capable of meeting automotive industry specifications for high-temperature capacitors up to +250°C while also meeting requirements for high reliability. KYOCERA AVX's broad range of automotive capable capacitors also meet various demands of operating temperature, process voltage, and reliability for use in different automotive applications from cabin entertainment, through airbags and ABS, to applications directly on the engine.
