In order to provide additional protective packaging, AVX is
introducing an additional bag pack. All required customer
identification features of the product will be on the secondary
packing. The AVX manufacturing label that is on the reel will
not have all the required customer information. The label with 
customer identification features should be removed from 
the outer bag and attached to the reel. Change effective for 
product with date code 1046 or later.

FLEXITERM® Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX FLEXITERM® Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) are designed to enhance the mechanical flexure and temperature cycling performance of a standard ceramic capacitor with an X7R dielectric. The FLEXITERM technology meets the demand for components with enhanced mechanical strength and flexibility when used in harsh environment applications, such as automobiles, and in applications where temperature variation exists. KYOCERA AVX FLEXITERM MLCCs provide up to 5mm of flexure without internal cracks, 3mm above the 2mm industry standard. In addition, these advanced MLCCs reduce circuit board flex failures and offer increased temperature cycling performance of 3,000 cycles and beyond, a base metal electrode system, and automotive and commercial grade product selections.

X8R / X8L Dielectric MLCCs

KYOCERA AVX X8R / X8L Dielectric Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors provide excellent reliability and are ideal for various industrial high-temperature applications. X8R material has a capacitance variation of ±15% between -55°C and +150°C. The X8L material has capacitance variation of ±15% between -55°C to +125°C and +15/-40% from +125°C to +150°C. Typical applications for KYOCERA AVX X8R / X8L MLCCs include drilling monitoring systems, automotive under-the-hood sensors, and high-temperature electronic modules.

Automotive FLEXITERM® & FLEXISAFE® MLCCs

KYOCERA AVX FLEXITERM® and FLEXISAFE® MLCCs feature enhanced mechanical strength and are ideal for automotive and medical applications, depending on the model. These MLCCs satisfy the requirement for enhanced mechanical strength by ensuring electrical integrity is maintained while external forces are being applied to the component. KYOCERA AVX FLEXITERM MLCCs provide up to 5mm of flexure without internal cracks.

KYOCERA AVX Automotive Ceramic Capacitors feature a wide range of multilayer ceramic capacitor technologies that meet or exceed AEC-Q200 requirements. These KYOCERA AVX capacitors include surface-mount and leaded MLCCs as well as surface-mount feedthru filters.
